With no changes to my system I have been unable to login through the minecraft client. It was working fine earlier this week after going through this same problem a for a few days before. I get the red text that says "Can't connect to minecraft.net" in the client. Everything else about the client is loaded normally.
I can log in through a browser, but not the client. I've tried turning off my firewall, uninstalling my firewall, making sure Minecraft is granted permissions with my firewall. I'm using Comodo as my firewall if it is in anyway relevant.
1. Try redownloading minecraft.exe
2. Change your password
3. play it in your bowser. to do that go to the minecraft.net homepage. where it says DOWNLOAD NOW! below that it say play in browser. click on that and it should work. Questions just massage me
