Ever since I installed MC, my cursor disappears after computer sleeps, in all programs. I can log out of my user with keystrokes and log back in and it reappears.
Any ideas as to why that's happening? I have a mac mini running lion (10.7). I've uninstalled the program but the problem hasn't gone away... does anybody know what happens with a mac on install that could cause this problem or what other than the app package is affected by the install?
I don't think those events are linked. It seems unlikely that Minecraft would affect your cursor in any way, especially since Minecraft only does anything when it is open. I'd say either you have a virus, or probably Minecraft just took up a large amount of ram that your computer needed to function properly.
I do have a question.
Is the cursor gone entirely, or is it just invisible? Like can you still click on things, but you just don't know what you're clicking?
I'm pretty sure it's linked - it started exactly when I started playing the game - if I let the computer go to sleep while in game mode where there's no cursor in MC because moving the mouse orients the avatar when it woke back up there would be no cursor even after I went to a menu in MC or left the program.
It definitely seemed to be related to the way MC removes the visible cursor to navigate the game. Never happened before, and that was the only thing I installed in that time period. I've had the computer for a year, never seen this before.
