Recently I installed 3 mods - Rei's Mini Map and OptiFine. After running all these mods with my minecraft, the result was no sound whatsoever. The resources file was still in tact with every file, and inside my minecraft folder. The sound/music in preferences is at 100%.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Or a way I can fix this?

So you would recommend removing Optifine?
