Okay so I have no clue why but recently my minecraft has been getting really slow. I've already allocated more ram to java and I set my priority for java to high and it still lags. At first when I got this computer I was able to play with all my settings turned up and render distance at far, but now I am barely getting by with my render distance on short and all my settings are turned down.
I don't know how to post screenshots so I'll post my computer system info here:

Please give me feedback on what I should do.
Thanks
Also check for running programs in the background.
msconfig and check startup programs.

Retired StaffIdeas: install Optifine, close out of programs you don't need, update to JRE7.
