I normally don't have any sound issues with any program, but for some reason, Minecraft has no sound when I'm playing Pandora. The oddity is when I exit out of Pandora, Minecraft has sound and keeps playing sound when I start Pandora back up. It's like Pandora bullies Minecraft out of sound, but tolerates it if it was already there.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit. My sound driver is from my Storm Sirus headphones. Pandora runs on Adobe Air. I have Java 7u6. I tried installing the hd audio drivers that nVidia has (Geforce GTX 560) but that has no effect. I also tried unchecking the two exclusive mode options in the device priorities and still no change.
It's more of an annoyance having to turn off, then restart Pandora just to play Minecraft with sound, but I was wondering if anyone experiences the same thing or something similar and has a solution.
EDIT: Hmm, nevermind. In the advanced tab where the exclusive options are, I hit the "Restore Default" button, which caused my music to change back to unaltered state (bass, treble, etc) and suddenly Minecraft works with sound, even when I restore the sound changes. Weird.
