i don't think it to do much with migrating account. i haven't migrated and i have this issue. there are probably just some issues at mojang.
Agreed. I was unable to migrate my account due to email issues so I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. Was playing last night just fine but now I'm getting the error. I have bought the game. Gonna wait and see if it works later...

Having the same issues as everyone else is apparently. Can't access a server I was playing on last night, though it's a heavily modded server. Guess Mojang is having issues.

welcome to #minecrafthelp. 1.6.4 clients are currently getting Failed: Bad Login error when trying to log into 1.6.4 multiplayer servers. Please wait patiently as Mojang fixes the issue.
Someone should tell @MojangSupport that they need to acknowledge the problem instead of sending people to the generic (and not helpful) article on their tech support site. They keep linking people to an article that tells them to reboot their router, and the service status page says all is good.

Glad youguys had this started. I started getting a bad logiGlad youguys started this thread. I started gettign a bad logina couple hours ago. Iasusmed i had done something to get banned or something, but the admins said no. So i did everthing, deleted the .minecraft fodler, reinstalled windows same thing. i hope they get thsi fixed and soon.
I'm trying to get on a server, one that I can always logon to, but for hours today, it's said 'Logging In'...'Failed to Login: Bad Login'. I've restarted Minecraft and even my entire computer, but to no avail. Does anyone have some solutions so I can get back on tonight ?
i had the same problem earlier today and i deleted all minecraft from my computer and reloaded it got my mod working again and was able to join the server again but i just left my server about 10 minutes ago it happened again and now im here seeking help... and my acc is not migrated
This is not just a migrated account problem.
My account isn't migrated, mostly due to me and my father not trusting Mojang's security, I mean if you can log in with your email that's cool and all, but if someone hacks your account, they have your email as well, your bank account, Pay Pal, iTunes, Credit Card, and your address. Your life can be ruined just because of one fatal and foolish mistake to migrate, well maybe not yours, but your parents's lives then yours. First, you can't afford food, then you loose your job, next you can't pay the bills, you go bankrupt, your house is foreclosed, you are homeless, starving on the street all because some hacker has no morals when you just wanted to play Minecraft.
Yup thats what the world has come to now a days, because 50 million people + around the world are too lazy to get a job and make their own money. So they ruin other's life because of it.

It is not just limited to 1.6.4 servers. I am having the issue tonight with 1.5.2. It fails like 9 out of 10 attempts.
