Normally minecraft has been working perfectly, ive enjoyed 1.3.2, but as soon as i downloaded snapshot 12w34a when i sign into mincraft and click play or play offline it loads and then goes black. it does this both in the downloaded application and in firefox/windows/google chrome(i have tried all three). i tried reinstalling the latest java, reinstalling minecraft, shutting down and restarting my computer. ive been told this is because of mods, but the only mod ive ever used is optifine. and ive tried reintalling optifine 1.3.2 via MCpatcher and directly installing it into the minecraft applet. so for i have not been able to access my minecraft worlds at all, but i can log in to the application and i can log in to the website.
If ayone can think of any solution i would greatly appreciate it. thank you all.

i now have removed optifine , unpatched and repatached minecraft.jar.
i downloaded and replaced 12w34a with 12w34b, becuase 12w34a was giveing other people lag and bugs. so far, ther has been absolutely no difference, as soon as i log in and press play, it goes black. minecraft doesnt open the "singleplayer,multiplayer,options" title page anymore, it goes black immediately.

I think you cant use mods in a snapshot.

Yeah like the post above, you can't use optifine in snapshot, if you use texture pack just use mcpatcher.

thanks guys but ive tried force update and removeing optifine, and im still getting black screen.
