I've had this problem even an update ago. I'll just be collecting or moving to use something, left click and the menu comes up for no apparent reason. Sometimes it does it ever click, sometimes it doesn't do it for a few minutes.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's bloody irritating.
Are you using a wireless mouse? If you are it could be your mouse drivers.

Okay look sheep, ever since Notch released colored wool I have killed your friends, even tho I don't have to kill a sheep to get it's wool but a naked sheep just looks ugly.........but we be friends again?
