I am new to minecraft and have been trying to play the minecraft demo on my mac. at first is asks for me to run an applet from mojang and i hit the ok button, it then loads the game as if I'm about to play. then another message comes up saying its signature can't be verified and it asks me if i want to run it and i hit the ok button. then the whole game screen goes white and doesn't do anything. if i don't allow it then the screen still goes white. does anyone know what may be going on on my computer and what i need to do to fix it. i do have the latest java.
by error log do you mean a pop-up message on the screen telling you what the issue is. (im not very tech proficient) The second message was something like that. it says that the applications digital signature could not be verified and asks me if i want to run the application. the name of it is net.minecraft. LAUNCHER.
thanks for trying to help me Sko, but im new to minecraft and know basically nothing about computers so that just confused me, i would need step by step instructions. Im using a mac and am trying to either play the demo version or the classic version IN BROWSER. i really dont want to worry about downloading files and worrying about all of that right now. I just want to be able to see if i like the game enough to be willing to buy it and download it.
