Over the last few days I have been trying to insall mods to my minecraft.jar file. Magic Launcher was not used, and i have been adding the mods manually.
I install Forge Universal 4.0.0 for Minecraft 1.3.2, and it runs perfectly. The problem arises when i try to run it with mods; My game gets up to the MOJANG screen, stays there for about one second, then reverts to a flat black screen.
Thinking this could have been the game and Forge trying to load my mods, I let the screen sit for about a half hour. When i came back, no progress had been made. I am unable to post an error report as Minecraft does not supply me with one.
Mods I Have Tried:
Too Many Items
Several of Rasugami's Mods
Timber!
Keep Items on Death
Optifine
^all mods updated to 1.3.2 at time of installation^
Fixes I Have Tried:
Deleting .minecraft folder completely and downloading a fresh folder (Tried this about 10 times)
If anyone has any ideas on how I might be able to fix this, I'd be extreamly grateful... Anything is great, because I'm about ready to explode
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I DID delete the META-INF

I don't know if this is the proper forum for mod support, but the issue sounds like possibly the meta-inf file is still in the minecraft.jar after you loaded forge. Delete that file from the jar and see if it loads. If you need more support, the forge project has its own forums with people far more knowledgable than I that can help you.

Oops, forgot to mention I deleted the Meta-INF...
As for the Forge Forums, I would post this there... unfortunarely I'm just too lazy to make a whole new account there that I'll never use again XD thanks for your help.... to all others that are trying to solve this with me, I'll say again that I DID delete the META-INF... I'll add that to the original post as well.
