I have spent the last four months perfecting the best zipper elevator model, I've installed it into all my skyscrapers in the remake of New Mombassa I'm halfway done with. I even made a version with multi-latch so it could go to more than two floors. It has all been done with vanilla minecraft redstone circuits and has been a vital part of my creation.
But sadly, as of 1.3.0, pistons no longer work predictably when used to push a player up a stair block, and it has been proven to be unsuccessful to even move the player at all sometimes. Because of this change I no longer have working elevators in my city below:
The tallest structure would take roughly three minutes to climb up to the top, but with the previously working piston zipper elevators I made it would only take 15 seconds.
I really hope this get's fixed but I don't know how or if it should even be fixed seeing as how it was a change not a fix to the pistons. Jeb has spoken, and thus the code hath been rewritten, destroying mine own work.
