Alright, so before the new version 1.3 I had a custom skin I used all the time. Then, when we got closer to the release date, it started lagging so even if I went on the server, or just a regular world, sometimes my skin was still Steve, which bugged me considerably since I'm a girl. And when I got 1.3 It got worse. Now even if I change my skin, I always look like Steve. I'm not sure if that's how other players see me, but it's bugging me, and I don't know how to fix it. Does anybody else?
And yes, i've tried different skins. Their all created on minershoes.com

Its fairly common problem, and traces back to the Amazon cloud. Some times it works, some times it doesn't, and all we can do is wait until the problem gets sorted out.

Yes the Skin problem seems to be a huge bug (even for me). After a little bit of playing, they will slowly change back. Hope this helped

I have the same problem and I'm a girl to, I hope it's fixed soon, because I'm tired of changing my skin over, and over again... Well hopefully it's just a glitch and will be fixed.. Hopefully! (Sorry for useless post)

Yah same. Its happening to me right now. I am also a girl. Its funny tho cause ive been playing on Hunger Games servers and about 2 times everyone but like 5 people and me r steve. Its kinda scary lol. You just have to keep trying to change it over and over again and sometimes it works. But sometimes not ;(
