Hello everyone. I've got a major issue. I've had world get corrupted, but it's never been this severe, and it was never on projects this big. Basically it's a world file for a server that I play on with a few friends. I'm not new to servers by any means, so I don't think I did anything to corrupt the world. The world isn't technically corrupt, but what did happen is some of the chunks regenerated. Not many, but about a dozen. Here's where it gets odd, and horrible. These chunks cut right through the middle of my massive house. Normally when I world is corrupted it wont open, crashes instantly, or something like that. But no, this time, some of the chunks just completely regenerated. Here's where it gets even odder. I've been making backups every day or 2 for a few weeks. So when it happen, I thought it was no big deal. I reloaded the most recent backup, about 2 days ago. It loads up just fine, but the chunks are regenerated. I thought, okay, what the hell is going on here. I figured it might be a server issue, so I tried loading up the world in singleplayer, and the same thing happen. The chunks regenerated. By this time I was really starting to get worried. I'm guessing that it must be something in one of the region files triggering a chunk regeneration, maybe the game is thinking those chunks are missing or something. I know the game only renders world in game, so I decided to check MCEdit out. Same problem. In at least the last 4 backups there is the same issue. What the hell could be going on here? I'm completely clueless. Please, I ask with desperation, if you have any help to offer, please do. I've got over 70 hours of work into this and I'd hate to see it lost.
If anyone wants me to, I could upload the world. Not sure how I would, considering it's over a gig, but I'd find a way if you think you could help.
Thanks, Collin.

Do the chunks look like the same terrain, or does it look like it had a seed change (different biome's, harsh transitions, etc)?
If you can roll back again to a pre-broke version of the map, clear the server.log, load it up, have a player check the area, and then come back with the log.

Yes, the terrain is the same as it was a few months ago, and I can put up the log later when I get home.

Were you on a server too? Or just singleplayer?

Read before you post, please.
I'm sorry, I posted this at 4 in the morning, but your comment doesn't help the problem at all, therefor is unnecessary.
No plugins, and the world was started in 1.2.3, and it got corrupted in 1.3.
