I've been having some minecraft troubles scince 1.3.1. What the problem is is that i can't open the GUI for anything and pressure plates won't work ,either however this only happens on multi-player. The other thing I'm wondering about is that I can play minecraft classic because of international error 5 : write error.
If I go to my other computer it says something about not being able to load pixels. I have figured out thatthis is becase of bad vdeo card drivers. if anybody culd tell me how to update them that would be apricated. Sorry if this is the wrong section,I'm not sure where else to put it.

Can you run java -jar minecraft.jar in CMD/Terminal?
Can the other people on the server run Minecraft normally with no problems?

Have you tried waiting at the object your trying to interact with? (Example: Right click chest then stand still for a bit)
