I have been playing minecraft since the alpha-test days, and i really miss the maps with more land mass. I have been playing the same world since then, and I notice that any new area that generates is almost pure ocean with a couple tiny islands here and there. I have tried making new maps, and it's the same- I start with moderate land mass, but when I go to far, it turns to insane ocean. I even tried making a new world in creative and flying. I saw land for a little while, but after that I went straight for 10 minuits of flying and nada- just ocean. Is this a glitch?

Well do you have any mods that can probably mess with world generation files :/
To be honest, no. I have dabbled very little into modding minecraft. I have tried the mob-spawner mod, and some texture packs, but that's about it. BTW- I did try erasing the entire minecraft file, including the .jar folder and reinstalling a fresh new copy of minecraft to see if the mob spawner mod or texturpacks were glitching minecraft. Unfortunatly, this had no effect. I have even tried minecraft on 2 sepparate computers to see if it was some sort of glitch on my pc's, but that was all in vain. I am stuck with a world that is mainly water. :sad.gif:
