Yesterday, I finally got a server up, and the next day, I was going to play Wrath of the Fallen with someone. But then he told me that his minecraft was stuck on 1.3.2 and couldn't get it to update. So now I'm stuck seaching Google and stuff to find a way to fix it soon, but I almost can't find anything. Any suggestions?
Okay so, every time i load the game, it will not automatically update. I have deleted it and re-downloaded it 3 times, which did nothing. It is currently stuck on 1.6.2 when the most recent update is 1.7.10. I have taken Spiderking220 advise and have looked for the force update button, but i cannot seem to find it. I looked on the forum saying that in one of the most recent updates the took away the force update button. I am currently very stuck and confused on what to do. This is extremely frustrating and i would very much appreciate if someone helps me quick (: Thank you. ~ Karissa
The force update button has been gone ever since then new Launcher came out. Do you have the new Launcher? The old one shouldn't really work anymore (can't login) and won't update past a version around 1.6.2
If you have the new Launcher, then how it behaves depends upon how your configured the profile that you use. It can either be configured to always use the latest version (auto updating), or to use a specific version (be stuck).
You need to disable internet connection to prevent automatic updates, then if the old version (not updated) is launched, enable internet then press "play". Am I right?
