Earthquakes, which can move blocks around and create fissures. They can last for 2-4 minutes.
Volcano eruptions, which can launch rocks create lava streams and create minor earthquakes.
Tsunamis, which can Flood areas near the ocean and cause damage to buildings, and move blocks around. The only way they can be created is an undersea earthquake.
Hurricanes, Which will accompany a major storm near the ocean and dump large amounts of water to cause flooding. These can last as long as the storm does.
Tornadoes, which can destroy trees and leaves. Depending on the severity they can cause minor-severe damage to buildings. They could last for 5-15 minutes.
Wildfires, Wildfires will only occur in dry areas such as planes. They can put themselves out. They could last 5-10 minutes.
Sandstorms, Sandstorms can only occur in a desert not on a beach. sandstorms could last 5-15 minutes.
Blizzards, These can occur in the Taiga and Tundra biomes. They will have larger amounts of snow than a regular weather event. They can cause water to freeze faster than usual and they can kill mobs. These can last for 5-10 minutes.
Landslides, These can occur anywhere there is a mountain and can burry a house can cause minor-severe damage.
Ice age, These could occur by the random expansion of the Tundra region and the Taiga region. This event would have to be VERY VERY rare. If this event were to happen it could last for 1-3 Minecraft weeks.
Of course these natural disasters would have to be rarer than regular weather. I also think it could add a twist to the Minecraft survival gameplay as you would not only have to survive the onslaught of Mobs but also mother nature. There should also be a button on the video setting of Minecraft that would enable and disable these events.
earthquakes , i suppose will move blocks , wait... blocks have no gravity ( onli sand and gravel ) , so it is a complete fail.
volcanoes , might be something for a new gamemode because in the survival that will rape your house , tsunamis , how would they work? hurricanes : minecraft has no " air " how hurricanes will work when minecraft there is not even air...
So by now there are 2 fails and 2 nonsense ideas , are you going to keep writing these or this is all ?
Moan so many people suggest this stuff and so many people whine about ohh noo its going to make a hole in my house well to FUC*in bad. If your that worried about it then say ya that would be cool but have a setting sorta like difficulty for natural disasters like off,minimal,normal,x3,x5 That would be cool i would like natural disasters and meteors. So people please shut up about it putting a whole in your crappy little house.

Hey dude it was just ann idea. I appreciate you pointing out that stuff but the way you did it sounded like criticism.
Hurricanes and tornadoes could destroy leaf blocks from trees and rip objects like flowers and mushrooms from the ground and send them flying everywhere. The difference between the two could be the hurricanes would include a severe thunderstorm.

Ya that would make sense. The Tornadoes could move mobs around aswell

Any thoughts?

Now, part of the reason this idea gets struck down time, and time again, is "Finally! My Mega-Castle is compl-WHY IS THERE A HUGE HOLE IN IT!?"
To read the haiku that you
Just finished reading
I support it (but as an option you can pick or not inside the game)
