Just an idea I came up with while on a field trip to a university specializing in science and technology; why not add transmitters and/or receivers to Redstone circuitry? The idea is that you give it power like a normal piece of Redstone wire and it transmits the signal wirelessly over a certain distance to a receiver that it has been synchronized to, which uses less Redstone than regular wire. This would also allow you to provide power across gaps and through blocks (though some kinds of blocks could block the signal), making the circuit easier to hide when making traps and such. Still not sure about a crafting recipe though... any ideas or tips to refine the concept?

I just joined here; I didn't know if anyone else thought of this.
I did check the first two pages of suggestions, but I didn't see this idea.
Please google!
Regardless, I like my note block + ear block transmitter receiver system better (see sig at redstone five)
Just use Google next time ok? good job on thinking.
