I'm sure we've all been there before. When you write a couple pages in your book and quill and realize there is a typo on page 1. Great now you need to DELETE the whole 2 pages and rewrite them. Can't even copy and paste so you better remember what you wrote. This is one of the reason I never use this item.
Why can't the book and quill become more like a text editor? I would definitely use it more often if that were the case.

Yeah, it should be more like the Bibliocraft Big Book, with slightly less formatting options, but still have the option to go back and retype, so we can correct typos. Though one can use a program like NBTExplorer to go into the book's contents, fix the typos, reopen the save and then it's fine.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Going back to edit type is really the biggest issue I have. Using another program to edit sounds like extra hassle, and wouldn't be worth it to me.

I agree. It should also support having colors, click events, and hints when you hover over the text (all of these things are available using commands, but they should be implemented into the editor).

Remember those versions that minecraft pranked us with? Specifically:
Minecraft 2.0
Minecraft 1.VR-Pre1
Snapshot 15w14a
Minecraft 3D
Those are still downloadable! Watch this video for 2.0:
To download the other ones you need to make a folder in the versions folder for minecraft and put the client and JSON file for the versions in there. They all need to be named the same aside from file extensions. Once you do that, you will be able to choose that version when making a new profile with the minecraft launcher.

They support. But only with commands tho
Would be way more used, looks like it was made in 30 minutes of programming, its just rubbish.
