We already have many enchantments, and all of them are pretty good. However, we still can add more.
The Enchantment
"Infectious Destruction", "Spontaneous Destruction", "Disintegration" or something along the lines of that.
What it does.
If an enemy is hit with this enchantment, they will lose half a heart every 2 seconds, and will lose all regenerative properties they currently have. This is a status effect called Disintegration. However, they can still acquire new regenerative properties, but they will not be as effective without the inflicted status effect.
But, this is still not the best part. If the entity is hit with this enchantment, it will pass it on to nearby entities of the same type, and the "infected" mobs will lose half a heart every 4 seconds, and will receive 20% of the damage the first mob (the mob that you first hit) receives. The infected mobs will still continue to spread the effect to other mobs of the same type, but they will only pass on half their own remaining effect. For example, if a pig had 10 seconds of the effect left, it will infect another pig, and give him 5 seconds of the effect.
ALTERNATIVELY. . .
Just do an enchantment where you poison your swords, or tip your swords in potions.
