Is this suggestion reasonable? - Single Choice
Eyeryone knows how to use /particle right?
As some of you know, some particles like mobSpell, reddust etc.
replaces the place for you to modify the size of the particle.
So, if you want a straight blue particle, you need a lot of command blocks.
Also, you can only make explosion, square, vertical/horizontal lines or dots in /particle
It's too old and dull! I want some new ideas.
SO, I want it to have additions. As everyone knows that /particle doesn't have data tags, so you can edit the back of the command.
Rotation
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 0 0 10 100 force
This makes a 10 blocks long flame particle to z.
If I use my additions like this:
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 0 0 10 100 rotate ~45 ~
It makes a 10 blocks long SLASH flame particle.=======================This is my 1/4 suggestion
Color Calibration
/particle mobSpell ~ ~ ~ 0 0 0 0 10 force
It gives a plain, old black particle.
/particle mobSpell 0 10 0 0 0 10 10 100 force
It makes a 10 block long blue particle.===============================This is my 2/4 suggestion
PS:The reason why I replace the position thing into the color calibration is because
as the system already independently detect such particle, it can be change like the old one.
Plus, I headr that the /execute command can move the target executing location,
so it's fine to do it. (Do you understand though-.-)
Outline
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 10 10 0 10 100 force
It gives a 10 block flame wall
If I use my additions to this:
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 10 10 0 10 100 outline
It gives a flame with 10 block,square frame.==========================This is my 3/4 suggestion
The middle will be empty, it's like making a window^^
Round thingy?
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 10 0 10 10 100 force
It gives a square 10x10 flame platform.
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 10 0 10 10 100 round
It gives a circle 10 block diameters flame platform
/particle flame ~ ~ ~ 10 10 10 10 100 round
It gives a 10 block diameters flame sphere===========================This is my 4/4 suggestion
(That's why I use "round" instead of "circle/sphere")
Conclusion
Why did I make this suggestion?
It's because /particle is the core of good maps!(In my opinion...)
but if you want to make beautiful particles,
it's not enough for the old /particle command.
My suggestion looks familiar with /clone or /fill , right?
So, /particle should be like them!
By logic, this suggestion is possible, is reasonable, is necessary!!!(I got a punch-.-) .
So, I hope my suggestion is heard from the Mojang team,
as having these suggestions will be good for almost all map makers.
