Hi, I am new to the forums. This is my first suggestion so don't get to mad if I mess up. My suggestion is a new aspect called "reuse" (I think the name should be different). This new feature will be when you can destroy a item and get something out of it. If that sounds like the same thing as destroying a block and getting something else from it then am not talking about that. What I am talking about is destroying items like food, weapons, etc and getting something else from it. For example, I can destroy a raw chicken and get a bone out of it. Another example is destroying a minecart and getting wheels out of it. I hope you understand my idea.
Sorry for the misleading title. I didn't want to make it misleading but if I didn't make it misleading the title will be to long. Also should the name of this idea be changed? It's a misleading name to all it.
@VolcanoBomber458, yes think of it like backwards crafting. This post is kinda embarrassing now that people are not getting it. Also not anything can not be "backwards crafted".
The term is recycle; I'm not a fan of the idea. The biggest headache I see is database creation. Figuring out which yield you get from which item. If it's something like "returning the most expensive part of the item" then it'd make items like a mostly used diamond shovel have practically infinite lifespan. Sticks are crazy more common than diamond which would dramatically unbalance the concept.
If not for that, it's initial database creation for a concept like this to work.

This makes no sense. Are you saying, for instance, you break a boat and get a shovel (because shovels are the oars)?
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.

Wow, the Minecraft suggestion community is better than Roblox's

Roblox can't even order their threads. That's why I stay off their forums and use individual game Reddits.
OT: Like Yoshi said, certain items will be able to be crafted infinitely. This would be severely overpowered.

Isn't this implemented already in some way? Boats that crash drop wooden items, tools and weapons can be smelted back into nuggets.
