I, as well as many others feel that the jungle is lacking.
Tiger: Tigers are neutral mobs that have 18 hearts, and will be provoked by a player attacking it. When killed, they drop 1 to 2 fangs, raw tiger, and if burned to death, cooked tiger. Fangs can be used for crafting spiky armor. When a mob/player hits a player wearing spiky armor, it will inflict 1 to 1.5 hearts of attack damage to the attacker. You can put any type of one armor piece in the crafting area with 2 fangs in no particular order. It can be any piece of armor existing in the game. Raw tiger will restore 1.5 hunger bars, while cooked tiger restores 4.5 hunger points. They can be tamed/bred with raw chicken and raw salmon. Tigers have two types of counter-attacks: scratching and biting. Scratching does 1 to 1.5 hearts of attack damage, while biting does 2.5, since their teeth are sharp.
Snakes: Snakes are neutral mobs that will be provoked that same way as tigers, and can be tamed/bred with raw bat, which isn't edible for players. They often spawn in jungle trees. Snakes have 8 hearts of health, and have 1 counter-attack: biting. Each snake bite does half a heart of damage, and has a 20% chance of giving you 'Poison II' for 5 seconds. They will defend their owner with these attacks as well. Snakes can hang on to vines.
Zebra: Zebras are passive mobs that have 13 hearts, and can be tamed/bred with an apple, a golden apple, a hay bale, or wheat. Their AI is very similar to the horse, and they are 5% slower than a horse, and yes, you can give them horse armor. When killed, they drop raw zebra, or if burned to death... you get it. Raw zebra restores 1.5 hunger bars, while cooked zebra restores 5 hunger bars. Zebras can also spawn in plains, sunflower plains, and birch forest hills.
Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
I don't know what to put in this comment, other than the fact that I would like some feedback, since all the thread creating problems in this idea were solved. Have a merry Christmas!

Tigers are a over-suggested and don't really fit into Minecraft all that well in my opinion.
Snakes could be a very cool aesthetic mob with a venomous bite, but again they are over-suggested.
Zebras could just be a simple reskin of a Horse, and would make more sense to spawn in Savanna Biomes. These are also somewhat over-suggested, but not as much as the other two.
They are more common in those places, and I will add the other places they spawn in. And some zebras live in the jungle.

I'm pretty sure they don't. You're probably confusing them with okapi's (giraffe-like animals that live in the jungles of Congo) They have striped behinds, similair to zebras.
EDIT: text editor messed up. Sorry!
Here's a picture of a zebras, giraffes, antelopes and yaks in the jungle:

Jungles already have a native mob, the ocelot, and I don't feel like it should have any more. It's already one of the few biomes with special mobs.
Jungles are mainly empty because of the lack of ambiant mobs in Minecraft. Currently, bats are the only ones.
Not special mobs, but special mob. 1 native mob, and only 1 native mob is too little.

Only Jungle biomes and mushroom biomes have native mobs. If any new mobs were to be added, I'd rather have mobs you'd encounter throughout your entire world, instead of just in one of the rarest biomes.
After I made this thread, I was also thinking of making more threads in which there are cool mobs native to a particular biome, so this won't be the only one.

They're not in the zoo, since zoos never give animals that much space, and they wouldn't put different types of animals in the exact same area.
Snakes will also be included in more biomes, but not all.
Explain your hatred of tigers.
Zebras do, but very rarely.
