Have you ever used an invisibility splash potion on a blaze while having all particles on?
Needless to say, it looks cool.
How about an enderman at night?
Again, awesome.
But what if a mob was naturally 'invisible'?
It would still have particle effects around it, and could still be seen.
Until you attack it, it will remain invisible.
EDIT:
They spawn in groups of 4-8 in the overworld.
Neutral.
Will all attack you if you attack one, like Wolves and Pigmen.
When they are attacking you they will remain invisible until you hit them.
Damage:
-Easy: 2
-Normal: 3
-Hard: 4
Health: 10 Hearts
Exp: 5
Drops:
-Ectoplasm(Used In Potion of floating)
Floats over water and lava
Susceptible to fire and sunlight.
Potion of Floating(Placeholder Name)
-Allows for a smooth decent, works for 30 seconds, extended for 1 minute.
Lol, this would be funny if blazes randomly attack a monster like this, and the monster would fight back.
The 'Murmur' monster is balanced because you say it would be neutral.

I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. I hate people who like video games. I hate people who are hateful. I hate people that don't like spam. I hate people who like cake. I hate people who type in proper grammar and spell words properly on the internet. I hate hypocrites.
No support. I like the idea, but not enough to want it in the game. I feel like the next mob needs to have something truly unique.
Invisible mob?

...
How the heck is that not unique?

Idk how this isn't unique, this suggestion is well presented in how it is so.
The only criticism I have is that the floating potion seems a bit OP. IMO, it should last 30 seconds so you chew through them speedily and, like ectoplasm, you would move like you were swimming in peanut butter. The reason I call for this is people could easily farm this mob and have an infinite supply for when pvping. I think this should be a more passive and utility potion than one I'd use in combat.
And, I see falling after the duration runs out could be an issue. Maybe if my potion effect ran out, and I couldn't resupply, I would slowly glide down (again, like swimming in peanut butter) until touching a surface where I would not have to worry about my potion killing me.

It's meant to say descent, not decent. Sort of like when a chicken falls, only you'll also glide over lava and water. And it does last for 30 seconds, until you put glowstone in the potion to extend the duration.

SERPORTURD.
Cats.
Since they are invisible and swarm you, I nerfed their attack. Maybe they'll do more damage when visible.
I agree this should be in the game!
Okay, I posted before the edit.
Cats.

Yeah it definitely could. THESAURUS HERE I COME! Also, It's meant to say 1minute not 10.
Floating is also know as hovering or sailing, drifting.
I suggest potion of gliding!
