For me, when I start a new game, I like getting a world that is nicely spawned with big cliffs, some water and enough trees to chop down for whatever. It's hard to find a nice one though, and each time there's a world I don't like, I need to save & exit, then delete that world, and start over. It's really quite a pain in the ass.
Anyway, what I'd like to see is not a map designer, but instead every time you create a new world, you can choose the different levels of things you'd like to see. So, you'd have trackbar-type objects for beaches, water, cave openings, cliffs, trees, etc. Even if it were just for landscapes and not quite objects, I'd be extremely happy :smile.gif:
For those who like the surprise of a new world, there could be a "random" option that changes the levels to random settings like they are now.
I mean, code-wise, it shouldn't be very hard, instead of using random numbers for geographical percentages, the game would use user input.

I also ****ing hate snow.
What's that? I must have missed it if it was in a planned update.
I'm just going to leave this here because I can't explain any better than that.
