Heyo! So, I just wanted to help bring awareness to a series that a friend of mine has created. It's called Minecraft: Survivor, and if that just sounds like a Minecraft Survival series with a weird name to you, then let me elaborate on what the concept of this series actually is.
Minecraft: Survivor is based off of the real life gameshow, Survivor. On the actual show, a group of strangers are stranded on an island and split up into two or more tribes. These tribes have to work together both at camp in order to survive the elements, but also work together to compete against the other tribe(s) in challenges for reward, to make camp life easier, or for immunity. The tribe that loses the immunity challenge of the episode goes to Tribal Council, where they have to vote out one of their own members from the tribe. This continues until the two tribes merge together into one tribe, where they must compete against each other in individual reward and immunity challenges and attend tribal council every round until only two or three are left standing. At that point, the people who were voted out get to vote for who they want to win the season out of the final people still in the game. The person who gets the most votes wins the season, and in the actual show wins a million dollar grand prize.
Now, in Minecraft, not all of these elements can be replicated, but the basic structure is still the same. The host of this Minecraft: Survivor series, Chris, does a great job of hosting the season while also editing and presenting it in a professional and entertaining way that mirrors how the actual show edits their episodes. He has just wrapped up the entire first season of his series, which had twelve players split up into two tribes of six. If you're interested in watching it, the playlist is linked right below:
He is doing a season two as well, so if you watch this and want to see more, there will be another season going up on his channel soon. I'm sure he'd appreciate it if you left feedback on what you thought about each episode and how things went in the comments of his videos! If not, it would still be appreciated to at least check out the series and see if you like it. Hope you enjoy it!
