Maybe this guy is hacking because noone hit an axe with no crit can deal to much damage like that

I'm not 100% percent certain, but I'm 90% percent sure that axes can do that much damage to an unarmored person. With the 1.9 combat update which I assume you are using giving that guy's red aura, all axes, no matter the material it is made from, have +9 attack damage, which I believe converts to 4.5 hearts of damage. The guy in the video did 1.5 hearts more than that 4.5, for a total of 6 hearts of damage, so I think he had a Strength 1 potion active, because Strength 1 gives you an extra 1.5 hearts of damage so the math makes sense, an axe's base damage plus a Strength 1 potion equals 6 hearts of damage to an unarmored player.

But if he's using potion then how could't i see the affect floating on his head...
