I'll have to OC my R9 270x to within 1mhz of melting itself and everything within a 50 mile radius and see how well I can do with it.
But yeah, if MC looked like that vanilla, probably 10% of PC gamers could run it. ATM, Minecraft has to be one of the least resource-demanding games still popular today.
