(EDIT 2: I didn't really know where this thread belonged. I wasn't playing, I was giving tours. Now I think I'll be doing an actual Let's Play, so this thread is unlikely to be used in the future. Soon I will hopefully be starting a new thread in the Let's Play subforum.)
(EDIT: I've deleted the three videos in this thread and uploaded five, two of which were already here. The video from this post has not been reuploaded because it was awful at about 0.4 fps...)
(Not sure this is the ideal subforum for this, but here goes...) Hello! I have a thread in the Screenshots forum, but now I'm making videos. This first one is extreeeemely choppy but I hope it gets the job done. In this first video I give a tour of my five camps. It's almost half an hour long. Future videos may be shorter if I don't do five camps in one video. I hope you enjoy it! "The Almighty Doer of Stuff presents: A Mumbly 1st Minecraft Building Tour!"
I've created two new videos, with better video recording software so it's not choppy, and with better audio settings so there's no irritating game noise drowning out my voice!
The first shows "Chicken Sheep Peaceful Sleep", a nearly pointless but somewhat amusing map I made when I decided I wanted the sounds of chickens and sheep in the background while I was attempting to sleep on a night of insomnia. I then changed my mind by the time I finished the map, but I still like having it.
The second shows "Mindfish Cabin", a scenic fishing island, which I designed as a pleasant place to use Minecraft as a tool for mindfulness meditation.
I may revisit the places from the first video, now that I have better software. Not tonight though.
YouTube does not like my OGV files, so I'm converting all my videos to AVI to upload from now on. I've made five new videos since my last post, four of which are reshoots of the locations in the first video. Tonight or tomorrow afternoon (probably the latter), I'll delete all my videos from my channel and upload seven videos at once, including the previous post's two. I've started a new SSP map with a few more mods and I'm excited about that!
Unless there's a huge outcry (yeah right), I'm not going to reupload the lousy one from the first post.
Hi again! I've deleted the monstrosity from the first post, reuploaded the second and third videos in the post above, and I've reshot videos of the five locations from the original video. I made an inappropriate joke in the last one (The Town of Nock) however, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit it out without making the video terribly blurry, so, so much for that. I plan to make the big draw of that down bigger and fancier anyway on my new SSP map. The 7th video features me swearing two or three times and is not actually that interesting, just me trying different seeds and exploring my new map a bit. I will post videos from that map in the future!
Here are the reshoots of the first four constructions on the old map:
