For my next survival series I decided to add some mods to it, and here is my showcase for the Treecapitator and Lucky Block mod! Treecapitator can cut down an entire tree by breaking one block and Lucky Block adds a new block to Minecraft that holds random goodies or random baddies inside.
I'm curious about VeinMiner now, but curious if that makes it a little too easy. I will definitely have to try it out. I could always do a season style let's play and next season use different mods.
If you're wondering if it makes the game too easy, it doesn't.
It's just like you were to use your tool yourself, but it just saves time.
It uses the correct amount of durability from your tool, and if you don't have enough durability, it doesn't mine all the blocks, only the ones you've got enough durability to mine.
It also supports enchantments, so if you've got Silk Touch, it gives you the proper ores, leaves, et cetera, just like if you mined it all with a tool with Silk Touch. For example; if you mine 20 Diamond Ore in a row with a pickaxe with the enchantment "Silk Touch," you get 20 Diamond Ore instead of 20 Diamonds.
It supports Fortune too, so if you mine 20 Coal Ore in a row with a pickaxe with the enchantment "Fortune," you get more than 20 Coal, for example 35 Coal (the "Fortune" enchantment is obviously random.)
It even supports modded enchantments, so if you mine 20 Iron Ore in a row with a pickaxe with the enchantment "Heat" from the More Enchantments mod which allows you to auto-smelt whatever you mine, you will get 20 Iron Ingots and not 20 Iron Ore.
I feel like I'm promoting the modification a little too much, but it's just so good that the authors deserve the money they get.
You definitively should download the mod! It's awesome, if you haven't understood that already.
I checked out a review of it on YouTube and I like the mod a lot. I may add it into my series. Thanks for letting me know about it.
