creepers aren't supposed to attack iron golems, so the golem wont attack the creeper. not to mention in previous versions mobs would only attack golems after being attacked by them so they changed something.
This is probably just a bug but I feel bad for the golems.
Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
