What It's About
Minecraft X is a YouTube video series by TheOnlyElijah that just went live a few days ago. We are featuring Tutorials, Let's Play! Clips, and more. So far we already have three videos, with many more on the way. These channels are filmed with Bandicam. Instead of a voice-over like most Minecraft Videos, this series has text and visual Stats and Instructions instead. Thanks to Mojang, however, there is music in some of these videos.
Minecraft X makes an effort to have all-age videos. This means no obscene behavior, and no cursing. The goal of this is so that a toddler could watch one of these videos without learning anything *ahem!* "new" (in a bad way, of course, as the tutorials are meant for you to learn).
Video Releases
Minecraft X has so far released three videos. These include two Tutorials and one Let's Play! clip. We have many more planned, but we cannot film fast enough. These videos include a TNT Cannon tutorial, a SuperCraftBros Let's Play! clip, and a Mob Trap Tutorial. I will break down each of these videos down below. [1] Firework Tutorial
In this video, Minecraft X will teach you how to craft the elusive Firework in a variety of ways, and a few cool Firework tips and tricks. We will also give you a quick Redstone Tutorial on making a nightly firework show.
[2] Skyblock Let's Play!
This time, let's hope TheOnlyElijah is better at Skyblock then SuperCraftBros in the latest Minecraft X Let's Play! Clip (if you've seen the SuperCraftBros video you know what I mean). We are going to go from the basic beginner Island on your average server to a farm and making some money (hopefully...)!
[3] Survival Adventure - Episode 01
We are starting an Episode Series! Coming Soon is the first episode of an average survival game in Minecraft! Will he be killed by a creeper when he discovers diamond? Will he be eaten alive? And best of all, Will he blow things up?! Find out in this new series!

Video Breakdown:
Number 1: Mob Trap Tutorial
This video is a live Minecraft video made in Minecraft 1.7.5. I made it using The Bandicam screen video recorder. This video is a Tutorial on how to build a Minecraft Mob Trap that will let you capture mobs that will be pulled into a hole where they will fall far enough that they will die. Their loot will then automatically drop into chests.
UPDATE: Minecraft will soon not be supporting ID's for the give command, so use minecraft:mob_spawner instead (or whatever Minecraft says to use).
Number Two: SuperCraftBros Let's Play! This video is a live Minecraft video made in Minecraft 1.7.9. SuperCraftBros is a 3-4 player multiplayer game were players impersonate mobs (such as blazes) and get the weapons according to the class. They then fight on an arena made up of a few decorated islands floating in air with no or narrow bridges in between. Players can double-jump in SuperCraftBros, jumping up to 7 blocks or more.
Number Three: TNT Cannon Tutorial This video is a live Minecraft video made in Minecraft 1.7.9. TNT is a popular Minecraft explosive crafted with gunpowder (from killing a creeper) and sand (found in beaches and desserts) in a Crafting Table, making an X with gunpowder and filling in the rest with sand. This cannon used simple redstone, redstone repeaters, and dispensers easily obtainable in survival mode to create a launcher to launch TNT up to 35 blocks, sometimes more. You also need some cobblestone, a button, a Water Bucket (crafted with Three iron ingots [iron ore in a furnace]), and lots of TNT!
