Here's a list of some blocks which are ghast proof for those of you who wanted to build in the Nether. I don't know if anyone has ever posted this topic yet but i thought this might be useful to some of you guys.
Leave more blocks/materials that are ghast proof if i did miss any and Hopefully this is helpful to some of you guys there!
Your hilarious-when-taken-out-of-context Shakespeare quote of the day: "The poop was beaten gold." -Enobarbus, Antony & Cleopatra, Act 2, Scene 2, Line 198.
There you go. Ghast fireball explosions have an effective blast power of 16.42. Therefore, anything on that list from furnaces (blast resistance of 17.5) and up is completely impervious to ghast fireballs (and anything else in the nether, for that matter, unless a creeper wanders through your portal.)
