We've had a lot of increases in the difficulty of monsters over the last few updates. Creepers damage scaling up to difficulty, skeletons with their crazy aim, and all the fun new stuff with zombies, yet the one monster that needs a difficulty boost more than any other has remained the same. The Ender Dragon is the "final boss" of Minecraft, but as it stands there is virtually zero challenge in the fight, regardless of difficulty, without the most severe of handicaps.
To prove a point, I killed her on hard, wearing no armor, and using nothing but fishing poles. Mojang, it's time to make the Ender Dragon fight one worth remembering, and not something only done as a step to making an Endermen farm.
