Just a quick single video post to show the new exciting direction that I have decided to take my channel.
ONLY CONTINUE READING AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO (Don't spoil the surprise!)
After watching that, you will now know that I've decided to monetize my videos for the sole purpose of giving to charity. It's going to be slow going at first, but I am confident that through my work ethic and the support of a growing number of viewers we can help those in need. As I stated in my video, I will be collecting the money made at the end of each month and then writing a check directly to charity (and documenting the delivery for the viewers). The charity chosen for that month (among other fun things) will be determined by contests that I will be holding for the duration of that month. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to work out this part, but it seems like a very plausible idea to me.
I have come to this decision due to some exciting turns in my life where I will be economically stable for the foreseeable future. I am going to continue my hobby of LPing no matter what, but I wanted to create a channel that could actively engage the viewers for the benefit of the greater good. I think that so much of the Minecraft community has a very generous heart and I'd love to provide an outlet for that. Simply asking for donations turns so many people away, but asking for a brief amount of their time that is then put towards entertainment can extend the bounds of that "willing to give" audience.
All of that being said, please help me continue to grow my channel by supporting me with your views. In order for this to work, I need viewers to be sure to have AdBlock turned off and watch as much of the ad as you feel comfortable with. The donations will begin once I reach my initial goal of $20. I will also set up a donation page in the near future to help accrue more money for those that would rather help out that way. If you have any suggestions or comments, I would be happy to hear them. I'm open to any way possible to give back to the community.
Thank you for your support!
