Greetings everyone, I'm assuming this would be a good place to promote my new channel. Not sure if the staff would frown upon this being posted in the redstone section or not. Anyway, on with the introductions and such!
Are you tired of block by block walkthroughs? Are you annoyed with how many channels post "tutorials" that don't actually teach you anything, other than where to place blocks to create a specific device? Have you ever wanted to build a 80-foot tall automated robot with lazer eyes and fully automatic TNT cannons?
If you answered 'yes' to any of the questions above, (except that last one... I can't help you there) then you've come to the right place! My channel uses subliminal hypnotic fiber-optic radio waves to permanently embed knowledge into your brain holes! Thoroughly tested on kittens, by scientists, (so you know this is legit) tests have reported a 18,001% increase of smartness in the mind.
The main focus of my channel is Redstone Theory. You know, that whole analogy of teaching a man to fish? That's exactly what the "Understanding Redstone Theory" series is all about. I don't want to just show someone how to build something, leaving them completely clueless as to what makes it tick. I want to explain how and why redstone works. As soon as one completely understands the true underlying mechanics of redstone and its associated tiles they can begin to design devices of their own, with out relying on someone else to do it for them. The channel is in its early stages, but the theory of redstone should be fully covered within the next video or two. From then I will attempt a gentle transition into the wondrous world of Computer Science.
Without further ado, I shall post a couple videos. Keep in mind that the first video is for the absolute n00b who knows nothing about redstone. I tried to keep the jargon to a minimum and keep everything extremely simple. If you know the basics of redstone, feel free to skip to the second video. Also keep in mind that these mechanics are as it stands in the XBLA version, which is equivalent to MCPC's official 1.0.1 release. I will update the mechanics portrayed in these videos as patches come along, adding new videos for glowstone logic, lamps, and the change in piston mechanics.

P.S. I apologize for the mediocre video and audio quality, and my stuffy nose. My PC is far too obsolete to successfully capture gameplay in HD. I may upgrade my PC, capture card, and microphone if this gains a decent amount of interest.
