I've expanded upon GenerikB's idea for the MindCrack casino vault where you require a music disc inorder to access a secret/separate area.

With the use of lava and obsidian you should be able to make a sucessful protected vanilla vault (or house).

The main issue is the hidden door area inside the base & currently the redstone, if anyone had any ideas.
