Last week I posted about a new cannon using the TNT carts, and whether you liked that or not, this weeks snapshot brings us more possibilities! I mentioned that I wished that dispensers would place TNT, as this would allow for automated cannons. I am not the first to think of this, and I doubt my comment was the reason: But they added it!
So here are three cannon designs: The first is your basic two button cannon, the second shows off the now easy ability to fire automatically on a clock. The third combines the second with my earlier TNT cart cannon for a powerful and rapid machine gun.
You can also pulse the projectile multiple times for a shotgun effect, or stack multiple dispensers to increase the power of the charge.
you mean it randomly jumping left or right? this can be fixed by encasing it. If its wrapped on all sides it will go straight up, then straight down.
Right, and while you can do that in some designs, it can can be a little tricky/make reloading difficult to have all those extra blocks around. It's a pain to deal with. And sometimes it can be really unpredictable and hit block even after it should be all lined up, sand you can drop past 1x1 holes and it always falls through, TNT sometimes gets stuck, even if you align it.

Nice work, I foresee extreme mayhem on warfare servers.
Now imagine all the new cannons that it will wring.
Amazing.
Ya, blame it on a poor microphone, I would like to get something better, but I can't justify the expense at the moment.
I only wish that the TNT didn't do that jump thing, it's the single most common cause of critical failure in cannon designs.
