I've developed a chicken farming technique that does not involve any breeding. The farm uses hoppers and a dispenser running on a pulsar to collect and dispense eggs. The chicks that are hatched are collected in a separate pen, where they can either be allowed back into the adult population or raised separately to later flush into an automatic incinerator mechanism. The incinerator kills the chickens and collects their drops into a chest via hopper.
