I have created a very cool trap using the new Minecarts with TNT which explodes instantly when a player touches the block that the TNT minecarts are hidden in. You can add more blast power by adding more TNT minecarts. 2 TNT minecarts are enough to kill the player with no armour on, and if he survives, the fall would deal some damage too! The size of this is 1x1x2, but sometimes the minecart can be seen through blocks because of its size.
