Walt Disney World is one of my favorite places in the world. Minecraft is one of my favorite games in the world. Why not combine the two, and create Walt Disney World in Minecraft?
In May/June of 2011, in Minecraft beta 1.6, I decided to begin a project to create my favorite theme park ever in-game. I had completed the entrance to Magic Kingdom and part of Main Street, U.S.A. However, I began to lose inspiration, and I took a break from the project. However, before my break, I posted a video to YouTube, with the intention of it being a "preview" to a series in which the viewers would watch me create WDW.
Link to "Minecraft WDW: Building Disney Preview" (please note that this is incredible out of date, as are the first few episodes of Building Disney. Also do not forget that there is more of my article to read ):
After this video, I took my first break from the project. In this time, a small number of comments piled in, and my inspiration began to grow. I started building again, and armed with FRAPS, started "Building Disney." I made a few episodes with my friend Danny and my cousin Zach, thinking it would be slightly more fun to watch if I wan't just talking to myself. To be honest, I believed the series would be incredibly boring to watch, but the 10 comments received on the episodes told me otherwise. "It's awesome, a great idea!" the comments said. "This should be known all across YouTube!" This made me feel even more inspired, but my life began to get busy, as people's lives often do. I took a second break from the project after Building Disney Episode 3, in March of this year.

During my second break, another small pile of comments amassed. They were all encouraging, and my inspiration levels rose again. On October 14, 2012, I made my comeback to the series, posting "Minecraft WDW: Building Disney Season 2, Episode 1"
Building Disney season 2:
While I have only made it to Cinderella Castle in this long time, I hope that, with the support of the Internet's Minecraft and Disney enthusiasts, that the series will require the backing it needs to satisfy my inspiration levels, and I will continue the videos. Please comment on the videos telling me your opinions, good or bad. If you liked it, great, let me know you want to see more and share the series with your friends that like Minecraft, Disney, or both. If you didn't like it, tell me why. I am always open to improvement, and constructive criticism is encouraged. In any case, I hope you enjoy Building Disney, sorry for the long post If I can accumulate a fan base for the series, you can expect more frequent videos and livestreams of Minecraft Walt Disney World content. I hope to see you on Youtube, in Minecraft, and elsewhere on the Internet. Thank you for your support, make sure to share with your fellow Minecraft/Disney Enthusiasts!
Thanks,
Ryan
