If you want lots of people to watch may I suggest that you do tutorials for things like mods or how to build things, as there are all ready hundreds of minecraft 101 videos out there. Also try to be funny but mature at the same time, nothing is worse than trying to watch a "how to" video made by a twelve year old saying words mommy told him he shouldn't...
If you want to make a genetic tutorial go for it but I don't think you will get your desired number of views so try to do something different.
If you're doing it with your friend, good chemistry with your friend is important. It's the key to funny exchanges and keeping the viewer entertained, I reckon.
I would suggest editing out parts where there's long (or short-ish) stretches of time where nothing interesting happens. I can not understand why more people don't do that.

My computer has 4 gigs of ram and it can play skyrim maxed out its all about the graphics card.
If you do need RAM get ddr4 not 1 or 2
If your voice sounds like a 6 year old's voice everyone will hate you
Don't try too hard to be funny it'll ruin the whole thing
Don't act awkward although its kind of hard not to do on the first episode.
Also, have a quality of at least 480P
Don't use hypercam 2
Don't rage its funny at first but too much rage makes it bad unless you want to make a rage video.
Edit it, make it more cooler, Programs you may use for it (Sony vegas pro 10.0, Adobe premier cs6, Windows movie maker <-(For beginners). )
