As much as i doubt Minecraft could do this, i doubt more upon Syndicate's ability to act or even think up something like this... no offensive to him of course, I just don't think he could fake this
so that is what i am looking up now as well, i will post if i find more things like this happening

Well, at least the forums are active. xD Anyways, It would be awsome if that happens in my minecraft. Oh, I think they spelled it as "Frye City", not "Fyre City". I'll check up on the video.
Pretty much convinced that this is real since Hug The Creeper has proof that this happened to him too. Though he could just be one of the people who faked it for Syndicate, and faked it again in his world to have proof. Syndicate could have just sent some epic builder his world file, have them make it and send the updated file back to him, and then he could have just put it in his saves and fake being supprised.
EDIT: Nevermind, it is obviously fake. FyreUK droped too many hints into the city and ship to believe it was real.
I love how people keep citing this thread as "proof" that it's real. Kind of like how people are still saying "if it's fake, why is it on the wiki?" when the only thing the wiki says is that there are no airships in the game without mods
I also love how many people are saying it must be real because it would be "impossible" for anyone to have the patience to build all the things you see in the videos (the massive river cavern, the ruins, and the entire city, all of which Syndicate claims are randomly generated). And yet the same people imagine it would be easy for Notch or Jeb to develop?! In fact, so much so that they would release it as a secret update kept only available to one or two players? :blink.gif:
No offense to Notch or Jeb, but we've seen the strange things that happen when strongholds, mineshafts, and villages get randomly generated... How do you imagine all these immense, intricate structures could be generated so well, without any glitches? Especially when there are allegedly only 2 players experiencing them at all? :huh.gif:

So, Jeb/Notch, is this real? Lots of good reason, especially the first 3 pictures posted on the first page. But a lot of people are calling it fake. REAL OR NOT?

the giant ship that crashed (at about 9:48), is that a randomly generated event?

If people make larger-than-life and scale versions of famous real-life landmarks in Minecraft, then I'm sure this would not be a problem.
I'm calling Fake.
Though it would be a really brilliant addition to the game to have random events.
