Backstory ======== Splinter takes place in a harsh landscape, where people are sent to die. The world is in a state of poverty, and everyone marked with the sign of the devil is sent to these isles to be punished, due to the tyrannical leadership of the unholy king. Those that haunt the Islands waiting to kill the next poor soul that stumbles upon on it are known as Hunters. The men, women and children sent to these god forsaken islands are known as Splinters. Why, you ask? well that will all be revealed when the series starts up!
