I made a minecraft animation video for a project to promote a Halloween competition.
I focused on lighting and sound to create an atmosphere to make it scary. It does not have much movement animation because I wanted to leave a lot to the imagination of the viewer.
Its better viewd in full screen with the sound on.
It gave me quite the chills especially when that character came out of nowhere.
Suggestions: I saw with the lighting that you basically made a loop with the same animations over and over except for a few times but try to randomize them all, that way it'll look better. If you want to add a jump scare, do it at the end of the video when the atmosphere and music sound stops. For example make that character pop up on the screen with loud screaming or something like it.

Anyways well done!
Thanks for the feedback. I was hoping the sounds really added to the atmosphere. I did want people to focus on the lighting and sound. I'll try to vary it up a bit like you suggested. I also thought of the end scare but we have some young kids that play and didn't want to frighten them.
