I need some help, so I'm hoping someone has some suggestions. It's been over a year since I played FTB (PC issues). So I chose to give Direwolf20's pack a try. I'm new to RF energy and find I like it a lot better. My issue is I have a lot of creosote oil from the coke oven. I can use it as fuel in a biogas engine but the energy output is in MJ. Does anyone know of a way to convert MJ to RF? I appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Rather than using a Biogas engine, you could use a Compression Dynamo to burn the creosote. That way you'd get RF instead of MJ and if you found you needed MJ, your energy conduit would convert it automatically as required.
Has anyone tried using the mob spawner code with CC 1.6?
Looks like I am having issues getting the status from the attactor

I noticed that OpenPeripherals had changed the name of the Attactor, so that have already been edited to fix.
I haven't tried the program with CC 1.6 as that's not what's in the DW20 pack. The only immediate thought I had was to check to make sure that the modem on the peripherial proxy is turned on. If that's not it, then I'm not sure what else it might be.
okay i have tried to change line 6 in the "mobs" pastebin to read local s = peripheral.wrap("auto_spawner_0") and i am still getting the attempt to index ? (a nil value) at line 96. does anyone by any chance have a pastebin of a working version of this after they've made the necessary changes?

Line 96, I believe is, looking for the "mob" in slot 1 (the only slot) of the spawner - the only possibility I see is the line of code has the wrong name or the name of the devise is not "auto_spawner_0" (if you have replaced the modem it may have automatically given it another name). If you have checked the modem on the spawner is showing "auto_spawner_0" and the code shows the same I have no answer.
As for the pastebin - easy, download the world from the "world downloads" on the first page of this forum, have a look around and make sure the spawner is working, you can then "pastebin put" from Dire's world and then "pastebin get" to you own. And you can then go back and forth between them to troubleshoot.
BTW - I think world download 110 has the spawner working except that the name needs to be corrected at line 6, but download 120 when it is up should be working properly and download100 the spawner is a work in progress
it was recommendation for future seasons i know that season 6 is in 1.6.4 but he's at 120 or something and he keeps bringing up the fact that he is preparing for an enderman attack which i assume will be the finale

I am sure your right although I am getting the feeling that he is finding ways to extend the single play S6 while 1.7.10 is being completed (the FTB mod pack versions).
His server play S7 (1.7.10) is already up to episode 25, for those who are unaware this server play series has a lot of mod developers on there testing their mods with Dire (and his crazy sidekick) trying his best to exploit (OP) them by finding ways to combine and automate them. He is also finding problems and making suggested improvements for some of the developers, and sometime the devs see what he has done to exploit the mods and changed them.
It is both satisfying and frustrating as I really want to be playing on the mod pack but I really want the mods and the Direwolf20 pack to be as good and error free as possible.
So I guess the only thing to do is watch and wait and maybe find other things on 1.6.4 to do, I have not bothered with the underwater base and have started playing with the bees - I am starting to like bees, a little, did you know you can get quartz from bees, I have spend about RL 5 hours breeding and I am at least half way there !!!

You can get almost anything in game from bees. In one game I had an apiary farm where I was producting each metal, including ardite, cobalt and manyullyn, diamonds, emeralds, certus and nether quartz. I was pretty much set for materials. The only downside of the metals and gems is that you get nuggets/fragments that you have to assemble into ingots/gems but I had a turtle and a packager handling that. Plus there's over 150 species of bees, so if you are a completist, that gives you a longer term goal to getting them all, especially because several of them can only bred at a specific time of year.
My only word of warning is to avoid, if possible, breeding the Wight Bee. It's Spiritual effect crashed my game every time it went off. It was reported as a bug but I don't know if it's been corrected. It's at the end of a long line, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Update - not loving bees again, after thinking I was only 5-6 hours from my goal I spent 12 hours (mostly waiting for the serums to do there job) to get to where I needed spectral bees - they have a 4% chance and although I had 3 mutators and went through over 20 nether stars they took ages to get.
As I am just filling in time waiting for 1.7.10 its not a problem but I will be finding a way to process them easier before do bees again. Watching television while I wait for the inoculation of one serum so I can put the bee through another 4-5 is a bit boring and repetitive.

Try using the Gendustry Mod; Its a mod that takes Extra Bees to the next level, with stuff that lets you create bees (literally), and force your bees to mutate the way you want. Also, it gives you a powered apiary that lets you do a lot of crazy stuff, and some other MJ/RF powered items. Best part is that Gendustry has no mod-specific world gen; so you can add it at any time. You just need to find 13 Block IDs and a few item IDs.
If your looking for the powersuit I think he logged off wearing it. I took the bat from the spawn room chest to get flight, you could get the spawn computer running (see earlier posts for the fix) and get a bat to kill that way.
Note all - season seven WILL (hopefully) be before the end of the month (this month) and MAY begin in 1-2 weeks.

No, you can't. It is a private, whitelisted test server for the devs of the Forgecraft mods and several others, like Dire, Soaryn, and Auralien.
