If you watch my series, you would know that I've stated that I plan to build an Atlantis city in my Lets play world. You'd also know that my Let's play world could be shifting off to a dedicated vanilla server.
Just want to let any viewers know that the recent lack of new episodes in the past week is not without very good reason.
I've been preparing my test world and have made considerable progress on the design of the build I plan to do.
I have been tweeting sneak peeks of the progress of the test world city build and you may check them out here http://imgur.com/a/8T6DY
It is exciting building such a big project, once the test world city is complete I am considering creating a destroy the core (DTC) multiplayer map of the city prior to building it in the let's play series.
In the mean time, now that the worst of the grunt work on the test world city is done (the base) I'll resume making let's play videos of my SSP city preperation, whilst also including footage of tests and experiments I perform in my test world.
To give you an idea of what those experiments will entail I have a few ideas in the works already:
A wireless redstone water forceshield, using signs and fences creating an on demand water field dome over the whole city.
Purpose built building designs for full farming and various other automation
A nether gate room in the main spire consisting of an on demand portal, linking back to the starter town through the nether.
We'll see how things shape up in the next exciting few weeks.
I had to take a month long hiatus due to personal affairs consuming all of my free time. Work did not go unfinished and I designed the city I intend to build in survival on a creative map.
I have resumed making videos momentarily, but need to stop again due to having to move house and general derpery.
I have full intention of resuming once I am settled into my new place, in the mean time, all I can offer are the following videos:
Oh and the forcefield was a bust. great on the small scale but not viable when scaled up.
