I am getting the crash when equipping batpack, rubber boots, etc. I have tried a couple different forge versions with no luck. What version of forge works?
Hey Direwolf20, I have a question. How close do the apiaries with demonic bees (or whatever they're called) have to be to the nether wort to make i grow? can you put one apiary in the middle of a farm, or do you have to put them spaced out along it?

Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
I'm sure DW knows of the epic REI minimap, but now that i think about it, how could you possibly not want to use it? I seriously couldn't function without it. I would be handicapped, wouldn't be able to move or find my base!!
hey upon loading your world episode 10,20,and 30 and only with any version of ee installed i get this error

looking around EE v6.22 works anyone know the update process I've read a bunch of other suggestions on how but no matter what i do i get this error
I've determined it is a pipe somewhere but don't know how to interpret where
Well I'm starting my world over again, not sure why, but i am and would love to know what you folks do for housing if your not using DW design. I do like Direwolf's houses, but they are getting old and would love to know about some other ideas. Is it even possible? I mean that 9x9 is pretty sweet with how everything just fits in place and the skylights, but there has to be something else out there.. I am only on ep 21 so i know back in the first ones he said he might be doing something different but have yet to see it.

Direwolf20, I can't use any of your World Save .... All I get is a Saving Chunks error that crashes MC ... I have Mods set up according to your list; but I can only use the Episode 1 Map, which (oddly enough) doesn't have a volcano where it shows up in your LP Series .... I can get one if I use your World Seed; but not if I use your World Save.... Very Sad....
Just an FYI, in the event nobody's mentioned this before, and to get some kind of help figuring (very likely situation, I admit) what I might be doing wrong....
I have a question for the masters:
My fuel / engine room is set up pretty much the same (different dimensions, but tanks, refineries and engines are all the same) and I've discovered that my water pump for engine cooling just can not keep up with the three engines. But I notice DW's pump is.
I have the 4 redstone engines set on all 4 sides and a pipe going to the middle engine and branching from there to the other 2.
I can be gone 15 minutes, come back and all three engines are dry and about to pop.
I have a chunk loader under the pool, so I'm not draining it on accident, it stays "infinite".
I just don't understand why two identical setups can function so different.
I simply don't understand.
I setup my engines and used the waterproof redstone pipe and luckily my engine wasn't running but the well went dry, no water in the pipe but the current is still hot, thus if my engines were running they would of exploded. I've tested the system several times while installing and it all works like it should, yet when it actually runs dry it fails. Any ideas?
Are the redstone engines up to full speed (blinking orange/red)?
Are you using golden waterproof pipes to connect the pump to the engines? (they can transport a larger amount of liquids in the same amout of time compared to eg wooden pipes)
If all else fails, implement a killswitch. Implement one anyway, just to be sure :wink.gif: It's no fun getting back to your base to notice the roof has been blown off :sad.gif:
Yeah, redstone engines are going full bore and I'm using golden piping. Got a link to a good killswitch tut?

The killswitch you speak of i belive is the one i use, basically put a waterproof redstone pipe inline your water pipe before they split into separete engines, usually right after the pump. anyway, if the pipe is full it emits a redstone signal, if its dry, it cuts it off, so you wire that to an AND gate along with a lever to control your engines and if they ever run dry it should cut your engines off, yet with this system just yesterday night my engines blew up. You can find a pic of the setup a few pages back on this forum.
There's many ways to implement the killswitch. dw20's one a few episodes back is pretty instructive. Yeah, there are probably simpler ways to do it, but direwolf talks you through all the steps in an easy-to-understand manner.
I also believe someone has also posted an image of their killswitch in this very thread, and from what I recall it looks exceedingly straightforward and functional, with a fail-to-safe design.
He's saying the pipe still emits a signal even when it's empty, letting the engines run even when they shouldn't be. You could have the coolest killswitch ever and if the panic signal never triggers, it's useless. Things get wonky when you get too far away from them.

same problem I'm having try EE v6.22 i can't update past there
I know i keep going on and on about this, but now my waterproof redstone pipes aren't even sending out a signal. The pipes are full and running as normal, but they aren't sending a signal like they should. Has to be a bug somewhere. I no longer leave the house while my engines are running. Really an inconvenience. It seriously only takes 10-15 mins for them to blow regardless your setup, they just run dry and blow.

You're going to need to talk to DaStormBringer about that, in the Addl. Pipes thread.

you think that pipe is the source of all the issues i'm having? could be several things, but maybe everything can be boiled down to just that pipe not working correctly.
no you can shoot at the moon and getb mobs to go to.....SPACEEEEEEEE
Yeah, we're usually around to help out, answer questions, and mock the terminally dense. :smile.gif:
Edit: Apparently you need 1.3.1

I've determined it is a pipe somewhere but don't know how to interpret whereI'm kinda partial to underground cities myself.
Did you get a route for ash on that diamond pipe in your rubber farm?
Nope :smile.gif: lol. Forgot that again, better fix it, lol.
