Does anybody know of a good screen recorder for minecraft that records the game audio through the software, I'm having trouble finding anything.
It could be any external software or even a mod.
Also I'm using a Mac.
Thanks for your help.

If you have a mac and don't really want to spend money on a screen recorder you can use Quicktime player witch comes free with a mac
That's what I currently use, but I haven't found a way to record the audio direct through the software. It looks like there might be add ons for Quicktime and stuff in the app store but I don't know if any of them are good

If you have a Gtx650 or higher gpu NVidia shadowplay just updated to allow desktop recording and OpenGL support. It is free and can record 1080P 60FPS video with near zero loss in performance. Don't know if it will help you, I don't know what gpu you have. Other then that, Fraps or DxTory. DxTory is better and has more options for audio tracks and codecs, as well as less performance loss, but fraps is much easier to setup and use.
Screw fraps time to use something better. Dxtory is a program where you get no LAG at all while recording. With FRAPS you do..also I suggest Playclaw too or Bandicam....because it doesn't take a lot of memory like FRAPS

This type of thing is what I'm looking for, but it doesn't look like it works on Mac.

I have a (crummy) Mac that I use for Minecraft. my opinions are:
Quicktime player: eh, no.
Monosnap (on the app store) : only if you have an iMac or above
Others: haven't tried that many
My personal recommendation would be Screenflick (Google it). I'm running a 2010 Macbook Pro with integrated graphics, and while recording, I can get 30 FPS both in game and in the final cut, while using optifine, sphax x32 and on render distance 12. By far the best. The difference between the free and the paid version (aside from $30) is the free version has a really annoying watermark in the middle. Try it out, if you like what you see, it's totally worth 30 bucks.

So if you don't have a Mac, stop saying the same three screen recorders over and over (Bandicam, Fraps, DXtory, etc.), because they don't work with Mac.
OP: Screenflick. Trust me. It's the best one you'll find.

I use FRAPS. But if you would like a free one then Microsoft Expression Encoder is good but only record 10 minutes of footage at one time

Look i think stick with quicktime but if you are having problems play around with the settings, there may not be too many but my videos come out good when i finish recording on my mac
