I would recommend that you make your own channel art. It's actually fun and quite simple! I use three programs, all of which are online (so you don't have to download them) and free. They're pretty self explanatory, but I'll give you a basic idea on how to use them. I also use these programs for all of my thumbnails! Hope this helps!
1. Flamingtext (http://flamingtext.com/) This is a fantastic program that lets you create text for your channel art in all types of colors and fonts. Just pick a font you like, change the color, shadow, etc. until you like what you have, then tell the website the text is for personal use and then download it! Simple as that!
2. NovaSkin (http://minecraft.novaskin.me/) This program lets you animate your minecraft skin into poses, which you can then put on your channel art. This program is slightly complex, so I'll put a link below to a youtube video that explains how to use it. This is a great program and definitely valuable for channel art and thumbnails.
3. Picmonkey (http://www.picmonkey.com/) This program is where it all comes together. You can open your minecraft skin animation + background, then overlay your text. This program is absolutely priceless and helps me a lot! I will put a link below to show you how to use this program below.

These programs will help A TON with channel art and thumbnails. You could even mess around with them a little to make your profile picture. Joining this late but this made me think... could anybody take my skin and make almost like an anime style character drawing?
I really like the design of it and wanna see it as something i could use as a profile picture and possibly used for a banner as well!
